Curtis "fka Curley" and Moses were surrendered in a seizure in Central Texas. He and his brother Moses "fka MOE" were almost feral. They were not socialized after they were born and allowed to run lose in a breeding establishment without human contact. A little progress was made at the shelter in Waco but they remained fearful and anxious in the foster home. Both boys have made a lot of progress and Moe is by far the more social of the pair. We believe that they will thrive in a new home, learning to trust and not to fear humans. Curtis is a bit more serious and quiet than Moses. Both are so happy for attention and eager to please. Still a tiny bit skittish he is very smart and learns quickly. These guys are not for just any home, they need a special family for each one - separating them is probably best.
If you have patience and would like to give one of these guys a chance, please consider fostering or adopting one of these deserving boys!
In the meantime, ATDR is seeking sponsorship for Curtis. Any amount would be a big help. Go to the Donate button on the front page, or contact ATDR at info@ATDR.org if you'd like to make a contribution toward his care.
