Meet Mia, this sweet girl was found as a stray in a north Houston suburb.  Sadly no one came to claim her and her running buddy was taken into another program!

Just look at that face!!  They don't come any cuter or sweeter than Mia.  This girl is a young, adorable doxie mix.  Her fur looks and feels like a long haired doxie - soft and silky.  Mia was found running loose in a local park by a good samaritan.  Efforts were made to find Mia's owners, to no avail.  So Mia found herself in rescue.  Thankfully, Mia does not appear to have had a traumatic past, she is very trusting, happy-go-lucky and silly with plenty of good-natured energy to spare.  Mia has longer legs than the average doxie, which allow her to leap baby gates in a single bound.  Perhaps agility could be in her future?!  She is highly trainable and motivated by food/treats.  She took to house training and crate training in a snap.  Mia loves walks and is learning leash manners.  She enjoys laying like a frog on both her belly and back.  Mia has shown absolutely zero signs of aggression over food or toys or toward the other (cranky old) dogs in her foster home.  This loving young girl is very special and practically gift wrapped waiting for one lucky family to make her a member.

Mia is fully vetted, healthy, full of puppy energy and silliness.   SHE NEEDS A HOME THAT IS ACTIVE AND NEEDS A DOG BUDDY.
