Description: Jojo is a handsome boy who was first adopted out by another rescue and was suffering from complications of heartworm disease. He was surrendered to ATDR in hopes of getting him the treatment that he needed to survive. It has been three months since he was first surrendered and he is a new dog! Jojo was quiet and listless when he first came to rescue but now that his heartworm treatment is finished and it was successful, he has a new lease on life!
Jo is a sweet, loving and very outgoing young adult male. He is great with other dogs and plays well with his foster brothers and sisters! We recommend a home with another young dog, he really loves to play. He is particularly close to his foster sister Bunny - but any young friend would be a plus. Please consider this great boy for the home he deserves.
Jojo is doggie door trained, great with other dogs and enjoys having a yard to play in! He is equally fond on snuggles on the couch or the big bed. This is one sweet hound!
