Description: Duchess is approximately two years old, and lucky to be alive. She was attacked by large dogs and suffered severe injuries to her rump. After two months of intensive therapy you can hardly see where she was injured, thanks to the excellent care she received from Dr. Elaine Caplan and her staff, and the constant care she's receiving in her foster home. Duchess endured three times weekly bandage changes which required sedation. She didn't let the tragic attack change her loving personality. She is sweet, loving and loves attention. She gets along well with other dogs, trying to mother the younger dogs in her foster home. Duchess is working on her housetraining and doing very well. She is trustworthy when loose in the house, not chewing things up or acting out when left home alone. She knows how to use a doggie door. She is heartworm negative, up to date on her vaccinations, and has been spayed.
