Description:
Copper is a shy little fella. He is about 5 - 6 months old and weighs about 8 pounds. He is very cute and loves to snuggle snuggle and then snuggle some more. If you are too busy to snuggle with him he will find the nearest blanket and burrow in. He is the ultimate lap dog. Copper warms up quickly to new people but not without first either acting like you are skinning him alive or making growling noises. Copper had never met a new person before his owner surrendered him. He was born in their house and stayed until he was the last of a litter of 4 that they needed to find a home for. He was around kids in his first home and again in his foster home. Copper does well with all of his foster brothers and sisters and is crate trained - but he is really looking for a big bed of his own. We are working on his housetraining.

He is believed to have a little bit of Chihuahua in him somewhere. Don't hold that against him though; he is a sweet little boy who is looking for someone all his own to snuggle with.
