Rusty is a sweet, East Texas boy who apparently had a rough start in life. While we don't know a lot about his background, we do know that, at the very least, he was extremely neglected. He arrived very thin and very shy, but extremely lovable. Rusty is a true "lap dog", and can curl himself into a tiny ball in an instant & fall fast asleep. He is great around other dogs and older children. He has a beautiful, shiny, SOFT coat that just gleams in the sunlight. And wait until you hear him "sing" along anytime there is harmonica music on the tv!!  Rusty is not aggressive toward other dogs, he is just beginning to learn how to interact & play with them. He had no idea what to do with a dog toy, but he is beginning to stick his nose in the toy box and investigate. The crate obviously held bad memories for him in the beginning, but it's now become a place he will voluntarily go when he wants to be alone. If you want an instant buddy for life, Rusty is your guy!
