Say hello to Marley! He and his sister/littermate Stella lost the only home they'd ever known when their parents got divorced and felt they were no longer able to keep them. They are very close, and would prefer to be adopted together. They LOVE their people, and will happily lounge on the couch, in the bed, in a chair, ANYWHERE, regardless of whether they can comfortably fit or not! They are doggy-door trained, and after some getting used to things in their foster home have had no accidents. Marley is a serious cuddler and will try to get as close as possible to his human if given the chance. He'll use the ramps available to him to get to wherever the people are but isn't much of a jumper. Marley is generally ok with other dogs, but isn't excited by anyone who isn't Stella. He would not be good with another alpha male. He does suffer from some separation anxiety, so having someone home would be the best option for him. He expresses this anxiety with shivering and stress reactions, but he hasn't had any problems with destruction or accidents. They are not particularly food motivated, although they won't say no to treats and snacks. They very much enjoy chasing the squirrels in their backyard for many hours a day if given the chance.
