Description:
Meet Ed (look at that profile... who could resist that face). He will be 2 on 7/16/2008 and weighs in at 22 pounds. Yes, he could stand to lose a pound or two... but he is still a big boy. Ed is very very sweet but a little insecure. He loves to lay in your lap or sleep in your arms. Ed has a very unique tail. he was born with a broken and malformed tail it is the shape of an "L". Ed is housebroken and has not been crate trained. He and his sister do very well in a designated area of the housse left alone. Ed is a little shy with his new foster brothers and sisters but he is beginning to adapt.
Ed and his litter mate Brittney were used as sort therapy dogs for underpriveledged children. So obviously they are good with children. They did well ignoring very young children and love to spend time with the 6 year old twins in their foster home. Due to no fault of their own they ended up in our rescue because their mom found herself in life changes that she could not keep them. She wanted to be sure that Ed and Brittney received the best home possible and so she turned to her vet for help, working with the vet as well he recommended ATDR. So after a very long hard decision she gave her babies to ATDR with tearful hopes that someone can find it in their hearts to keep Ed and Brittney together. Ed is neutered and UTD on vaccinations and is heartworm negative.
If you are interested in Ed, please consider adopting he and his littermate Brittney both.
