Description:
Meet Brittney. Brittney will be 2 on 7/16/2008 and is a beautiful 16 pound tweenie. Brittney is so very sweet and loves to be with people. She is very calm and is definately a lap dog. She is housebroken but not crate trained. She does well in a designated area of the house when left alone. She loves to sleep under the cover next to her person. She is doing well with her foster brothers and sisters. Brittney keeps a close eye on her litter mate, Ed, making sure that he is not alone or feeling insecure. She is her brother's keeper.
Brittney and Ed were used as sort of therapy dogs for under priveledged kids, so naturally she is great with kids. She does well ignoring the small children, but loves the 6 year old twins in her foster home. Due to no fault of their own Brittney and Ed ended up in our rescue because their mom found herself in life changes that she could not keep them. She wanted to be sure that Ed and Brittney received the best home possible and so she turned to her vet for help, working with the vet as well he recommended ATDR. So after a very long hard decision she gave her babies to ATDR with tearful hopes that someone can find it in their hearts to keep Ed and Brittney together. If you are interested in Brittney, please consider adopting both she and Ed together.
