Ebby MEM 2015 On a beautiful Saturday morning, March 7, 2015, our Ebby crossed over the Rainbow Bridge at the ripe old age of 15.  She had successfully battled chronic kidney disease for the past two years, but finally her little body just gave out and it was time to let her go.  Ebby, Ebs, Ebby Debby -- whatever name she liked any given day -- was a happy, spirited and polite little mini Dachshund who loved sitting in the sun on the backyard deck, never complained about shots or vet visits, and loved her brother and sisters.  She was my first foster, my first foster failure.  Our hearts are heavy, and we will miss her immensely.
Toby MEM 2015 In memory of Toby, a red dapple standard dachshund, who lived a long life full of love and happiness. His "moon" eye made him extra special. Thank you Betty and Wayne Johnson for providing everything Toby ever needed!  Run free sweet beautiful boy!                         Glenda Watson
Snickers MEM 2015 Snickers, age 16+, passed away in March. His organs started to shut down because of advanced age and health-related issues. Adopted at age 3, Snickers gave me a joyful 13 years with him. I called him my little street urchin from Midland because he was picked up in downtown Midland by animal control. Fortunately, he was rescued by Central Dachshund Rescue and became my first rescued dog.   Diane Johnson
 Tiny MEM 2015

It is with great sadness that I report that one of my precious fur babies crossed over the rainbow bridge. His name was Tiny and he had battled diabetes for the last two and a half years. He was a very sweet dappled dachshund. He started as a foster and I adopted himabout 4 years ago. His owner died and the family had surrendered him to a kill shelter. Run free my sweet Tiny...I will see you again.

Love your mom...Ellen
Jewel MEM 2015                "JEWELL"

16 years ago with a wag and a twirl, a cute lil pup did grace our world.

Her name was Jewell - she was sweet , she was tuff - she was a diamond in the "ruff".

Jewell's adorable ways put joy in our days.  She could melt your heart with her eyes and her gaze.

Jewell's "fierce" little bark was such a lark.  Because incidentally she was very friendly.

Jewell could put on a show but was never a cuss.  She always entertained Haley, Debbie and Russ.

Jewell had a good life mostly free of strife, but beyond and above, she was full of LOVE.

Her passing hits hard a stinging Whammy.

Godspeed, precious Jewell

Go play with Sammy.

Zoe Michelle MEM 2015 Beloved Zoe Michelle, special friend and ATDR Spokes Model crossed the bridge to her next big adventure!  She leaves behind her family and so many devoted friends and fans!  She was an amazing advocate and champion of IVDD dogs everywhere!  Godspeed Zoe, see you at the bridge!
Max MEM 2015 Max MEM 2015-2 Our sweet Max went to the Rainbow Bridge on  July 10th he was over 17 years old. He was our  first foster and we failed fostering 24 hours after  we met him. He was special, he had quite a  personality and could be grouchy at times, but he  just wanted love and attention. He was part of our  family for 10 1/2 years, we miss him so much but  he left us many wonderful memories.
 RIP sweet Max.
